I am going to put Ceramic Headers on my '68. I have an '87 302 in the car w/4 spd. My question is: Do I buy shorty or standard length headers and which brand is recommended?

Thanks to all that have suggestions!

Longtubes will give you the greatest amount of power, I suggest Hooker Comp headers. Other people know a lot more then I do on this subject, so hopefully someone else will reply.

Thank you fellas.

I was wondering how things might work with the 4 spd. I do have a plan if it comes down to it. I have the card of a guy in Calif. that sells cable kits for the clutch, instead of using the typical Zbar setup.

He had it on his 65 Mustang and it was a pretty neat setup.

Regards

Cougar Bill,

I have an 87 302 in the car. I looked around on the site that you sent me the link to. Can I use any of the headers that are listed for 302?

Thanks
RJ
