I finally got around to putting the Holley CJ carb I got on my 390 this weekend.I had already ordered the stainless choke tubes from Don but ordered the CJ ones and the one I tried won't line up.My question is should I have ordered the 68 390 choke tubes for my cat?if so I've got a new set of stainless CJ choke tubes for sale.

Thanks

Tubes should be ordered to match the exhaust manifolds you're using. The end that attaches to the carb is the same for either.
That said, how far off are the ones you have? Even the correct tubes typically have to be bent and tweaked here and there for installation.

I can't get the tube to go into the hole to see how close they are.there are no remnants of the old tube left in the manifold,I cleaned them out when the motor was rebuilt.I guess I'll be making a call to Don and ordering a set of 390 tubes. Thanks for the info I should have asked before I ordered the CJ ones.
