No info in the cougar manual, what hardware is used to bolt the plastic splash guard to the body?

I believe they were course thread hex head machine screws. If you don't have them on hand, I can take some originals out of my spare fenders and send them to you if you like.

Think you mean hex head sheet metal screws Mike. 3/8" head BTW.

There's 3 different style body screws with the 3/8 hex, one style that has an actual machine thread with a self tapping sabot looking tip, then there's the ones that look like a wood screw thread, and machine threaded ones with the tapered cone tip, not sure which style would be correct but it's not the last one I listed.

Exactly what I meant Bob, thanks. They are around 3/4" to 1" long, and have the tapered tip like a wood screw. Sorta like a really short #12 or #14 lag screw.
