Awesome! Discount Tire here in Dallas will fix a flat tire for free. The manager figures it is good business. He is right!

Great! I've bought tires from this outfit in the past. Now to line up a few more tire vendors like Treaddepot.com (where I bought my trailer tires), tirebuyer.com (where I bought tires for Wife's '04 Crown Vic Sport (poor man's Marauder)), ...

I like tirerack.com myself. Deliver to local garage (Goodyear Tire Craft) and install the next day. But, I have been shopping drag radials recently and DT's price (just checked) is close to the best (but not quite!).

I bought my Mickey Thomson drag radials two years ago at the tire store that has a on-site store at the local track. Same price as any of these mail-order places. They do a good business because they're there at the track, have racing tires (drag radials, and slicks) and they also have trailer tires in stock! You'd be amazed at how many trailer tires go bad on the way to the track!

In fact, one of my racing buddies had two trailer tires go bad this past weekend! Thankfully, one on the way to- and one on the way home from the track! Always carry a spare!!!!

I've bought tires from Discount Tire in the past for my SVT Cobra and would do business with them again. To bad they don't sell any of the original style goodyear polyglas tires as I'm in the market of buying a set.

looks like they run good promotions - site doesn't show any locations on it!? Kinda Weak in the info dept.....

I have had good luck with tirerack and I have to say they have excellent info on thier site - maybe to much! LOL

Locally I have had a mixed bag - Firestone will not get any business from me......they wouldn't do a simple tire swap from one rim to another since it was a "used" tire - something about liability (ie no sale of a new tire!!) and the other place I went to get a flat fixed charged me $10/hole (had 3 of them I guess) which I though was silly - shoulda just bought the tire huh!

Discount Tire isn't just the best tire dealer I've done business with, but in my opinion, the best business I've ever done business with. I haven't bought tires from anyone else in about 25 years. For the 10 years I had my business I was buying tires for 6 trucks and many personal vehicles and I've never had a complaint, or a charge for a repair. In fact, I have 5 or 6 stories about unbelievable service from DT that I've shared with many friends over the years.

There were many times I thought of trying to steal employees from them. I always assumed that they must have a heck of a training program to get so many young guys to be so professional, then I read a book. Six Tires and No Plan by Bruce Halle, the founder of Discount Tire. Now I understand why they are so good, they're continuing the service that Bruce started many years ago. I still don't understand how they find and keep so many good employees.

My great experiences with DT aren't limited to just a few stores here in Tucson, I've also had the same service in a few other states. I believe anyone will find the same type of service, and good prices, anywhere in the country.

Roy

PS I really don't have any affiliation with DT, I'm just so impressed by them that I'll share it with anyone.
