I bought a 4-bbl intake for my poor 302 (2-bbl).
It's a Weiand 7290, dual-plane.
I'm planning on a 600vac Holley for it.
The seller called it a medium-rise, and said it's good for 6-6.5krpm.

It lookes medium-rise too me, so I guess thats true. (whithout knowing what I'm talking about...)

Anybody got any idea what I have here?

The rest of the engine is as follows:
Stock -71 mustang 2bbl 302
CR, a little over 9:1
mildly ported heads.
cam: 218/[email protected] , 288/288 adv , 460/460 lift , Lobe centerline 107/119 , Overlap 62 ...
Headers and a 2½ exhaust.

How will the intake fit that combo?

Anybody want to guess what I might be looking at (hp) ?
Is 300 about right?

Anyway... The main question is if anyone knows anything about that intake?

Hmm...
I did a quick search on the Weiand website and Yahoo and couldn't find anything for the 7290. Sorry.

Yea, I did that too, and checked on Summit and Jeg's an so on without luck, so I guess it's an old model that perhaps isn't on the market anymore.

I'll get a picture up here as soon as I can, maybe someone recognices it.
