I have a '68 Cougar that I'd like to put a set of sway bars and a set of traction bars on. The set I've found is designed for the '68 Mustang. Now, I know the cougar is sitting on a mustang platform, but I've heard that the cougar's dimensions are wider or longer or something, so, will the bars fit or will I need to keep looking?

How about the rear sway bar?
And is there a decent place for parts like this, specifically for cougars, on-line or something?

Rear sway bar will work. The difference is in the length, not width. Everything from the firewall forward will interchange, the rear ends, brakes, etc will, but the leaf springs won't. Leaf springs are longer in a Cougar.

Another part of the sway bar kit is a set of front 600lbs. springs. I’m having problems with my right front tire scrubbing the finder, and was hoping that heavier springs would help.

So, A. are the springs heavier, and
B. will it help with the tire scrubbing thing?
