70 Cougar. is this a job i can do at home or does it require special tools and expertise? thanks-

Billy (aka Mr. Lottaquestions :buck:), I would recommend buying repro UCA's over trying to replace the bushings/pivots shafts all day long. For the price of repro's, you just can't go wrong. So says the ECI.

You'll need to remove the coil spring. DO NOT use cheap harbor freight coil spring compressors. I can send you a picture of mine if you want or do a search here and you can see what to use.

yeah, i gotta' apologize. but there is so much corporate knowledge out there, i just don't see any reason to stumble around and figure stuff out the hard way!!

Quality of copies is not where it should be, cloning would be better. IMO LOL
