I've seen a couple of posts that suggest gas mileage may improve going to a 4 bbl instead of the 2V. Can anyone verify this? I've already got a nice Holley 1850 600 cfm and can p/u a performer intake pretty cheap - Engine is F code 2V.
Also, can anyone give me a baseline on the jetting for the Holley to use with the 302, it originally came off a 351W. Thanks

i went from a 2bbl on my 351 to a 600 holley, and i picked up around 2mpg. even when my foo is into it ( most of the time) its still better on gas than the old carb was. the 2bbl was rebuilt about a year before the 4bbl went on too, so you may see a better improvement if your 2 is all nasty. i dont know about jetting. can anyone reccomend what to do about that?? its still with the stock out of the box jets, but ive never jetted a carb before so im clueless as to where to start. ( im more of a body guy ) any help would doth kicketh much ass.
