Ok fellows,

I got some information on the carburetor that I have. I went on the pony carburetor website and I found that my carburetor is a 4bbl autolite 4300 model. The website site stated that this model had problems with the deisgn but that it would be fixed by them if you wanted to restore it. I havent had a chance to talk to a live reepresentative that could fill me in on what the cost would be to restore i and if it is a good carb for my engne size. So, let me know what you guys think. check out the website, its very informative!!

Thanks Lithi

Depends what you want to do. I would guess getting the autolite redone will cost at least as much as a new holley or Eldebrock. So what do YOU want ? You talked like you would like to do some more mods down the road and it will be easier to rejet and such on the newer carbs so I guess that would be my suggestion. mm
