Recently, my turn signal switch broke, and I replaced it with a new unit. I installed it, everything looks right, but the signals do not cancel consistently. Sometimes they do, sometimes not. Anybody ran into this one yet?

I used brand new switch. It works sometimes and not others.

I wonder if you got the wheel back on far enough..? Maybe it's grazing the arm but not consitenly tripping it? Do you hear it clicking consitantly when you turn and re-turn the wheel? I can't remember if there was any kind of spacer under the switch or not...maybe it needs a bit more if so>? Been a long time since I pulled one.

Hi, Well, I've got an aftermarket wheel on there. The aluminum piece that has the splines cut out, is going on the shaft as far as it is supposed to. It seems to go down all the way to the end of the threads. I can usually hear the clicking when I turn the corner, but when I release the wheel, it doesn't trip the switch. Just a dumb little P.I.T.A.
