does anyone make a repro trunk lid molding for 67 68's? luckily the ones i have are in good shape, reason im asking is i have a customer now who im making two for his 65 impalla out of billet, just going to polish one, the other he wants brushed- the cougar ones are simpler, and its basically the same operation etc. Wondering if it's even worth considering going through the effort- the original used ones in good shape seem really pricey to me, maybe there's a market for them? what do you think

It all comes down to price, what's the cost to make it out of billet aluminum?
I paid $275 to have all 9 front and rear aluminum trim pieces stripped & anodized.

Tim, please do tell where you sent your trim to be stripped/anodized for $295. Pics would be awesome as well. That sounds like a great price, compared to what I've seen quote-wise out there. I stripped all my aluminum trim, but ran out of patience with sanding, wooling, polishing. Thanks, Eric.
