Hope everyone is doing well. Thinking of switching my auto 3 speed with a TKX 5 speed manual on my 1968 cat to do justice to the 351C 4V.

Do I have to modify the 3inch drive shaft in any way? or the driveshaft tunnel? Also thinking of putting headers there

Has anyone here put a 5 speed in. I would like to get a T-5 out of a mustang but don't know what years are the best to find one from. Which ones are the strongest?

Tremec TKO 500 5 Speed

Installed a tremec tko 500 in my 67 Cougar a week or so back, and it has been a huge improvement. Now I'm cruising at roughly 1500 rpm versus 2500 before, and for the first time in years I went on the highway, at roughly 2000 versus 3000 before. The overdrive and sharper shifting is awesome...
