My '68 Cougar has the stock rims and tires on it. It has the 14 inch rim. The tires on it are 40 years old and finally blew on me today! The tire says (195 r14) there is no middle number. Can anyone tell me the exact numbers I need? Say for instance, example: 195 60 r14.

I believe they should be 195/75/14. That's a narrow tire. A little better look would be a 205/70/14. I have that size on 2 of my cars and it looks stock. Your speedo will still be accurate also. If you want to go big and keep the speedo correct, you can go to 235/60/14 without tire rubbing in the front. Hope this helps.:wave:
