On the 351C is there a trust bearing that goes between the cam and the trust plate, or the thrust plate and the cam sprocket, or even both?

Thanks,
Cody

re:thrust bearings

the answer is no to a thrust bearing being there at all. the thrust plate is there to keep cam in block. i've just finished building a cleveland for my 69 cougar. (pics in gallery) once the timing chain is installed and the distributor is installed the cam shouldn't move much. there are two little dimples on the thrust surfacethat let some oil travel to the thrust plate.
