Big Rock Show.

We had a good time today. We had 3 Red Cougars 1 white and a Aqua Cougar there.

Here's a link to my pictures.

for you who don't have time to go there,

In my side view mirror at a stoplight are, Lee Windth's Red 68 XR-7, Dave Nashif's 69 XR-7 Convertible, then Chris Farmer's Red 68 standard.

4 of the 5 Cougars in attendance. Great setting for us.

I think Royce may like the induction, I'm not so sure I'd want to drive this replica on a bright sunny day!

Can you say, Blinded by the Cobra?

It' a 55 Merc!

I think you need to open the link and see the rest. We had a good time. I hope the Oregon Cougar owners had a good time at Hillsboro and post some pictures.

P.S. I need to end this post with another oicture of my XR-7.

I think this shot came out well.

Sure wish I would of known in advance. I grew up in Woodinville ( Cottage Lake ) in the early 70's. Duvall is a cool little town. Maybe next year my 68 will be done and I'll make the trip.
Really cool pictures

We had a great time at the Round Up. The Benoit family brought out 2 great Cougars. Susan's 68 XR-7 Sun roof and Roman's Calypso Coral 68 Standard. Jason Bushman brought out his Sharp Comp. Blue 69 Standard. They were 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in that order. Roman also received a Special Merit Ribbon that was awarded by the President of Mustangs Northwest. We had 8 Cougars there. In cluding a sharp 1969 XR-7 CJ, Dave Nashif had his 1969 XR-7 Convertible, Bridgett Schoolfield had her Black 1970 XR-7.a Sharp Black and Saddle 68 Standard and my 1970 XR-7. I'll post some pictures soon.
