hello my fellow stray cats

my wife and i live in reno nevada and father a 12 year old son who is crushing it at every turn. im a heavy equipment mechanic and fabricator by trade and my wife holds down the house and does a very good job of it. Hot August Nights is our Mecca and we hope to see you out there.

We own a 1967 Cougar GT trim package. it has been in my wifes family since '91. came off the line white with a 390 and all the bells and whistles but has since been muscled up significantly. i have mixed feelings about it but its been made into a "Pho-limenator" with a spoiler, hood scoop and sport mirrors. her brother and father pulled the 390 and dropped in a 428 CJ breathing on a massive Holley 850 double pumper. at that time they also re-geared a ford 9" and went to 4.10s and installed a limited slip carrier. topped it off by stabbing in a built auto trans from the open box/scratch and dent shelf at Summit and gave it a fire engine red paint job. suspension work, shelby lowering mod, mustang air dam, and low ratio steering box makes it handle like a slot car in the streets.
