I bought a repro spoiler for my 1970 and would like to know if there is a template available (or measurements) for placement of the mounting holes. Thanks for any information.

Not to hijack the thread, but I'm also looking for a template, for a 69' Cougar/Eliminator spoiler. Thanks..

'69 & '70 Rear Spoiler location info, here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/473220306059769/permalink/843243605724102/
*there is a good set of '69 vs '70 trunk lid comparison pics in the comments.

Ram Air hood cutout and hood scoop mounting location template, here: http://www2.cougarpartscatalog.com/70ratemp.html

One more bit of '70 rear spoiler info in this pic. Not sure where I got it from, but it was most likely on one of the Cougar forums. Those are "5"'s, not "6"'s. So it shows 25" from the front edge to the rear pedestal hole. This is 1" further back than the '69 spoiler install factory doc shows (24" to rear pedestal hole). I'm not sure if there was actually a difference in position between the 2 years, or if the photo is showing incorrect info, so please keep this in mind when you are measuring.

I have a '70 Cougar and am installing the rear spoiler, can anyone provide me with the location and size of the "D hole" on the under side of the deck lid? My '70 does not have the holes for the reinforcement plates.

Thanks to Mike for the pictures and measurements for the holes on the top side!!! They match up to the spoiler!

Thanks in advance for the help!
