I am currently involved with straightening and strengthening the sagging unibody on my 70 conv. I have a Chiltons manual with a diagram of the subframe locations using various features and dimensioning them to a baseline. My problem is that the diagram is for a 1968 Cougar. Mine is a 70. Are they the same? If not, where is this info available?:1zhelp:

I have considered purchasing the manual. The diagram in the Chilton seems to have all the dimensions I will need (linear and diagonals from the top view, heights from a baseline in a side view) except for the fact they are given in a diagram labelled "1968 Mustang/Cougar". Split dimensions are given for numbers that differ between the two models. I am not positive, but I believe the unitized frame stayed the same from '67 to '70. I would like to know whether this is true. Thank you for your concern Rick.
