So I found out a few days ago that this part of the carb was stripped when gas was pouring out of it. 32433880021_large.jpg The red circle shows the area, This however is not my exact carb but very similar. I am going to pull it today and see if cant some how tap and rethread it. My only concern is the metal shavings and them falling into the system. I know that this problem has had to of happened to others. So there has to be a solution. Just looking for some input, Thanks

Get a replacement bowl. That's your best solution.

yeah, that's a pretty big fitting. Since it's toast you could go cheap and JB weld it I suppose.....your not out if you have to replace it.

Glad to be of help. Trying to re-tap or heli-coil would have been much more work that it was worth!
