Intake gaskets:
Turkey Tray or PrintOSeal.????
Thats the question. And has anyone modified a valley pan to be used with the PrintOSeal gaskets.
it seem like a good idea to have the pan to keep oil and heat off of the intake sinse there is no water passage thru the intake on a 351C.
I read some posts on the Pantera forum.
Now i am confused. I want both.

To pan or not to pan

Bowl:
I don't know if this will help, but I am in the process of installing port plates on my 351. I called MPG heads with the same question and I was told that I didn't need it. Their thinking is that it IS needed if the exhaust runner is left open in the intake(because of oil baking to the intake bottom). However port plates close the runner so the pan isn't necessary. So it depends if you are going to heat your intake. My car is only used in summer so I don't need or want the heat. I'm actually hoping my carb will stop boiling on shutdown. We'll see!! Bob
