Hi everyone.
I was wondering, will a 1967 Mustang steering wheel work on a 1968 Cougar. The mustang wheel is from a 1967 and is the rim-blow variety. Mine is a 1969 Standard with the 2 spoke wheel. If it will fit, can I change the cemter to the Cougar piece?

i am not totally positive but the rimblow is a 69 and a 70-73 wheel only. 67-68 were not rim blows but a center blow wheel. as to interchange royce would be able to tell but i dont think the center will interchange with the mustang. as to the 67-68 interchangeablity i dont see why not but royce peterson can tell you for sure if he doesnt answer this thread PM him and ask he will definatly be able to tell you.

7 8 wheels do not interchange exactly in my opinion. The hubs below wheel on column are diff sizes and utilize a different way of turning turn sigs off I think. I know 7/8 turn sig switches are different. Again try parts board look for John S and John Ludorf for 67/8 parts. http://members3.boardhost.com/67-73COUGARS/
