In the most recent issue of Hot Rod they have a small article on the 67 Bob Estes Trans Am Cougar. They say that the car has '65 Lincoln Spindels and disc brakes. Does anyone know if this is a straight swap?

Thanks,
Cody

I think that using the brakes from a 69 t-bird or other full size car from 69 are more readily available. they are 4-piston calipers and lareger rotors. the only difference is the outer tie rod. the diameter of the piece that connects to the spindle is bigger. so you can use the spindles, calipers, and outer tie rods from the 69 t-bird. i've installed this set up many times on cars that come into the shop i work at. the most recent conversion i did was on a 67 shelby gt500.
