are the repo cables for a 68 trim to fit or should they go right into the guage? mine wont go into the guage far enough to get the nut threded on.

I don't know if the repro cable has to be trimmed to fit, but I measured my original speedometer cable and it was around 62" long with the speedometer gear attached. How long is the repro cable? John

Are you sure it's seated in corectly? I wouldn't think youd have to cut it..?

The one I purchased from WCCC was fine.....it took a little wiggling to get it seated in the speedo all the way, however....perhaps that is the issue?
