Woke up this morning to find a mysterious white substance all over the place! I had to take some pictures to share...

My car has never been snowed on (as far as I know). And luckily, I snagged a covered parking spot last night, so the tradition continues!

Don's tow truck

This one might make a good print:

Holy cow I hope they have snow plows and salt trucks out there! Can't have that white sh&t laying around. After seeing that white crap for months, I'm sorry those pictures do nothing for me. Need to see green.

Looks like just some snow dust to me. We have 10" of snow, plus 2" of ice, plus 8" of snow. it's all about the layers. I've been lucky and have kept my power, but majority of the neighborhood has been out since Sunday. The power spikes blew one leg of the three phase out at work and today is the first day back since Monday. They had to fly some #2 wire in from Texas as the rest of the supply around here has been used up. Very interesting watching them restore power this morning to a 83,000 volt line. You couldn't pay me enough to do that job.

So, funny cold-weather Cougar story..... This morning as I was about to head to work, I went to open my car, and the locks were frozen solid. Both of them. So I finally ended up getting some hot water and pouring it down the window channel, and it worked! Thought I was in the clear. Then, when I pulled in to work and parked, I went to open the door, aaaand.... frozen again. I was trapped in my Cougar! I had to call Scott to come get me out. Haha. And of course everyone else came out to laugh at me.

Carry a lighter. Heat the key with the lighter flame, insert into the lock and turn.

I bet the water you poured in froze the lock/latch......

Cool pics BTW
