Hello all,
I noticed this the other day and can't seem to track down the cause. Yet. I have 1 brake light bulb that half works. All the normal "running" tail lights work fine. Including the bulb in question. But when I hit the brakes, the center/passenger side bulb is the only one that doesn't get brighter. And yes I tried replacing the bulb first. Everywhere else back there works great tho. Brake, sequentials, hazards. Its like the command to tell that 1 bulb to light brighter doesn't get there. lol. I've been looking for a line break in the wire with no luck. If anyone knows a sweet spot to look at, that would be awesome.
Thanx...

You may have a bad connection at the brake relay. Or a dirty or broken set of contact points in there.

Take the bulb back out and look into the socket (compare to others) and see if the little nubbies (technical term! LOL) are actually making good contact in there - they get corroded or worn off enough not to make contact sometimes....maybe the spring under the plate is shot..?
