We have Hot August nights in my town, and it usually attracks about 400 cars (all makes) from all around Canada and WA. and OR. It is the biggest car show we have.
The cost is 5.00 Can. a car, and takes up all of downtown and is free to spectactors. I entered the Fairlane last year (first car show and won best unfinished) and went with a 69 Torino Fastback that was complete. I guess it helped parking beside a finished car, lol. Im taking the Cougar and Fairlane this year I hope.
There are a few other car shows throughout the year, that range from 50-200 local cars, and its 10.00 to enter a car, and usually free to go see except one cost 5.00 a family with proceeds to the local hospital campaign. and 10.00 to enter a car.I plan on going to alot more this year when my Cougars done, and enter both cars.
The next one is Mothers day at a local speed shop parking lot and cost 5.00 to enter a car, and free to watch, and proceeds to ****** cancer research (cool). Trophy's and gift certificates to best of....... (all classes) and usually brings around 100 cars. It's my wifes birthday then, we will enter her car (Fairlane) and hopefully win a coffee, lol.
