After 2 seasons in Placerville, we're going to bring this year's Catistoga down closer to the Bay Area. We're going to go to another growing wine region right in our own back yard - Livermore.
For those of you not familiar with this region, Livermore Valley is one of America's OLDEST wine producing regions. Robert Livermore planted the 1st commercial vines back in the 1840's.
There are about 30 wineries in the area bounded by I580 on the north, 84 on the west and Tesla & Crane Ridge Roads on the south/east. We're going to pick 4-6 vineyards for a taste and tour. After the event we'll either set up a restaurant for dinner or find a place for a BBQ.
We'll be posting more information as we get closer.
We're trying to get a head count so if you can let us know either through an email to me or through the poll response that would be great.
