The previous owner of my 1968 XR-7 installed a replacement windshield washer reservoir, but didn’t connect it. I purchased a washer hose kit from WCCC and attempted to install it yesterday, but am unsure how to route the hose leading from the reservoir. I can see a smaller hose originating from the upper firewall and leading to the “T” that supplies solution to the two spray nozzles. However, I don’t see how the supply hose from the reservoir feeds solution to the pump. Is there another nozzle on the firewall to which the reservoir hose should be attached?
Thanks,
Jim

On the 68, inside of the car ,you have a foot pump that when you depress it, it sucks fluid into the pump thru a large hose which comes from the reservoir, and sends the fluid out thru a smaller hose to the T that supplies the nozzles. You should have a grommet in the firewall that these two hoses pass thru.
