Has anyone added the rear 4-link suspension on their Cougar? I added the 4-link ridetech to my 1968 and was wondering if anyone has modified it for wider 300 series style tire even with wheel tubs? I tried a search and didn’t come up with anything.

I am installing a TCI front and rear suspension (3 link). Cutting the axle to 56.5" (wheel face to wheel face). Looks to me that a 275 is the widest rear tire that can be put back there with tubbing. Once that work is complete will be working on a Gen3 Coyote and Tremec TKX 5 speed. This will take awhile to complete.

Not sure it'll be much help, but I put a DSE Quadralink and minitubs in my 68. I've got all the fab done, but haven't ordered the rear end or cut the links to final size yet. But I'm planning to put 315's on, guessing 345's would work.

When you did the mini tubs, how did you handle the trunk hinge that mounts to the tub?
