Hi guys,
I renewed my original 68 oilpump of my 302/2V today. That change made such a huge difference that I have to write it down for you. The engine runs much smoother, sounds healthier, reacts more direct and has more power.
Now you will ask how comes ? Well, the only reason I could think of is that the hydros were supplied poorly by my old oilpump before, so I had less compression, less power, a chattering engine and a lousy idle. Any other idea ?!
If you still run the original oilpump, go for a new one.
Mike
