Hello ,

Has anyone used a P235 70R 15 on the rear of there 67 / 68 Cougar ?

I install new leaf springs that added a 3" lift. Now the 195 75R 14's look
real small in the wheel well.

I pick up a new set of repo chrome factory wheels and was wondering if the P235 70R 15
would be TO tall .

I would appreciate any info or help on the subject .

Thanks

That's a big tire. It's close to 28" in diameter. I'd be looking for one closer to 26" in diameter.

Those tires are more suited to a full size care or 2wd pickup. A 235/60/15 would be a much better option...right at 26.1" diameter.

Yep, IMO, ~26" diameter is the shizzle. 245/45R17 front, 285/40R17 rear on Isabel, we're wide and low.
