When taking the radiator cap off, a small leak starts on drivers side, bottom of radiator. After putting the cap back on, leak slowly goes away, within minutes gone altogether. I currently have a non-vented cap on.
Also, I've got an overheating issue due to what I believe is a bad head gasket. I am currently running a 2 row radiator, approx. 20" wide, and 16" or so high, on this "68 with a 302 motor. Only have about a 1/4 inch clearance between elec fan and pulleys.
1. What may be causing the leak?
2. Can I squeeze a bigger radiator in here, or should a 2 row radiator be sufficient?
