ya I am leaning toward ether buying those or making them.Buckeye. I bought the mustang steve brake brackets that allow the 94+ 13" Cobra brakes for the front. They also sell the rear brackets which I want to get later.
Well the car certainly has come a long way. I hope you have too...:1poke:I have a couple of favorites. One is from my first day with my Cougar (Just got home from cross country practice in Sept. 1982), and the second is the same car more recently (Aug. 2007).

Got them, Just not on the rear yet. 1/2 inch all the way around just haven't had time to put the longer studs in the rear yet.Dee the car looks very good. If I might sugg a wheel spacer on the rear whould bring the wheels flush with the qtr and realy set thosr wheels off.
If you aren't we might have to confiscate your 71!!! LOLjust kidding....
Good job, Neal. Hope I didn't twist your arm too much when that car showed up to Prowl. I don't think you could go wrong with that much car for so little money. Hope you enjoy driving it. First project = wheels and tires. Not a great pic, but... I worked a deal to buy this 70 XR-7. Put down most of the purchase price and should have it home before the end of the month! I'll have a driver!!!! I'm so excited. This has history with it back to the original owner who drove it for 15 years. He then stored it in his heated garage for 15 year. It is fairly well optioned. It has a 3.0 tarc loc, AM/FM, Intermittent whippers, Rear Defog AC PS PDB 351W and was built about two weeks after the Green XR-7 I sold to JimF. I'll post more when I get her home!
Thanks Jeff, but the first project is clean out the garage so it has a warm place when I bring her home. I just about missed it, I had to sell that white 69 first. I'll tell you about that latter.Good job, Neal. Hope I didn't twist your arm too much when that car showed up to Prowl. I don't think you could go wrong with that much car for so little money. Hope you enjoy driving it. First project = wheels and tires.
I see you changed the wheels. Lookin' Good! :ylsup:Finally. After a 500+ mile road trip to Woodward:
