Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do you have any excessive side loading on your shocks? It seems like the tops of the shocks would be pushed too far inboard. Did you have any problems getting it aligned? What did you do to lower the rear? Reverse eye leaf springs?
Aligned... that's funny you mention it. I had a long time friend of the family do it, and I can say I've never heard so much cussing come out of a shop. He assured me I got my $40 worth. The rear is getting the TCP pushrod/watts link system this winter when it gets the re-paint. No issues with side loading. Am I the only one willing to drill holes in a perfectly good car or something? Hell, I'm taking a torch and cutting off the whole rear of the damn car! Anyone want an 8 inch cheap? Keeping it origional is only for resale value. I'll never sell it.

Nope, Raceline GT's 17X8. In my mind they are the modern version of the Shelby 427's on Rocket's G-Force. Altough Rocket's are true knockoffs, versus my bolt-on's

Damn pulling the wheels on stock steelies!
What tire are you running in the rear copycat? Looks like you need much more (at least from the side). Those wheels are real nice I concidere them in polished for mine
They do need to be bigger. But, BFG dosen't make the tread in the size I want so I would need to go up to 18's to get it right. And right now that isn't going to happen unless someone has a set cheap I can get... 18X 10's please.

BTW they are G-Force KDW 2's with the flame pattern.
Ya 18x 10's whould be super hot. It whould fill the wheel well. If I winn the lotto man I will buy you a set!

I struggled with the same problem and had to bite the bullet and step up to the 18s on the rear. That sure was an expensive price to pay for one inch. But the end result was worth it. Luckily I was recently able to sell the 17s to someone who could really use them.

I REALLY like the way your front sits.
I think this may be one of my favorites. For one, it is not a show posed picture with the hood up, those get boring for me. Secondly it represents doing something I enjoy about having this car, driving it on a crisp fall day through the mountains on winding roads with no traffic to deal with. I think my blood pressure just went down a notch.

Hey Don, I relly love the look of your place, Old barn styled building, looks very cool. You should ,ove the old rusted truck closer to the old rusted gas pump and have a skeleton standing there serving gas, that would be awesome!
Hope I can visit you there some day.

Thanks! The guys that work for me just roll their eyes cause they think I am nuts but I am having fun and it is a non-Cougar interest for once. I actually kicked the idea of the skeleton around but I am trying to make the place look really authentic, just like a old closed gas station would look. I am out in the country and there are other buildings around (including boarded up pre I-5 gas stations) that look like this. I have been getting a few local photographers stop by and ask if they can do a shoot. Kind of fun knowing my place will be shown in High School year books for years to come.

For now, Blitz's pics from the show a few days ago:

I really should add the pinstripes back so the fender line is more visible.

BTW stance is from original stock springs up front, repro stock springs in back, gas shocks all around. Continental 225-60R16 tires on 16x7 Grand Marquis Sport Package wheels circa 1995.
