That's just nice enough for cruising (esp with gas prices around here, okay, you're running LPG but still...), lots of beaches down in zeeland ;)
I'm planning on building a streetable drag car myself, but that's just because here's no speed at all to be found in my company car ;)
I must say, I sure wish mine looked as nice as yours, but patience is a virtue I guess...

Cheers,
Matthijs

Hey thx for the comps guys!

I've had one heck of a busy day yesterday, everyone wants a ride!! Aargh! hehe, ah heck, I enjoyed it too. Just can't get enough of this shaking at idle and head's turning when people hear a monstrous sound approaching tucked away in this beautiful coat. :D A rare thing in this little country.

Anyway, the reason I'm thinking of an Audi S2 for performance is that I won't take another company car after this one as they are all too slow, and it can't be too conspicuous for my work. The S2 truely is a devil in disguise, just what I need for daily driving. But as my Peugeot 206 1.1!! contract ends in November 2003, I still have some waiting to do..... and money saving

How does a Car like that make it over there. Did you buy it from the States and ship it or was someone there selling it? It's really cool that you have a Cougar. Congratulations!
Cheers & veel plezier ermee, (what Gulf00 says)

What's it mean anyway?

I was just thinking, it is quite neat that when you're driving a classic cougar around here you can be sure there are more ferrari's, porsches and even maybe diablo's driving around in the country. So that makes the cats exotics isn't it?

Cheers,
Matthijs

P.S. "Veel plezier ermee" means: have lots of fun with it.

My cougar has been in the Netherlands for only three years now. I bought it from an American classic specialist who imported this car from california. The previous owner also bought it from this specialist, had it for three years and traded it in at the same specialist for a Mustang convertible.
Now it's my turn to pamper this baby :)

On another note, every now and then I get this weird feeling in me that I wan't to leave this country, it's so packed and small, and the weather kinda sucks. As a child I lived in the US for 2 years and 8 years in Canada, deep in my heart I would actually wanna go back I think... hmm... only downside is you kinda have to start over then, on the other hand, I'm still young at 25.
Wonder where I'll be in 10 years time.... maybe I should just take a chance and follow my feelings... I hate dilemma's...:1zhelp:

Great car, looks awesome.
Move down to South Africa, we got great weather, great white sharks [lol] and so far I have only managed to locate about 5 others cats in the country.
on the downside, our economy sucks.

hmm... upsides and downsides, If I do decide to do something crazy, I'm gonna try to go somewhere with the most upsides; great white sharks and slumpy economy scare me a bit
I think Canada would have the biggest chance for receiving me as I also still have a Canadian passport :)

lol, well actually, it's a 2 door garage (but u probably noticed), and including our driveway I think we could get like 12 cars on our property (good for parties), but do you think it's mine? Nooooooope, toooo bad..... I still live with my parents! (don't laugh, well actually, it's pretty normal these days at my age (25)). My decision to still live with my parents is very well thought through and economically smart. I can buy fun cars and enjoy great livin' hehe :D. Big houses with some space are also really scarce in this fully packed country, I got to enjoy this to the fullest as long as this lasts! (that's why the space in North America attracts me so much).
Downside, the 2 car garage is allready filled up with my dads toys, a 1979 Merceder 450SEL 4.9 and a 1952 Morgan +4. My mom hates the Mercedes, lol :p:
