Owners manual for a Chrysler owned Cougar?

I bought an owners manual from a guy at Carlisle about a year ago and I just opened it for the 1st time to see the car it was from was owned by Chrysler Corp? Anyone know anything about the car itself?

Adams was a Lincoln Mercury dealer in Grosse Pointe Farms. Maybe they bought it to research for ideas for their muscle car lineup.
