Hi Guys,

I have a beautiful 1969 Cougar with a 351 Windsor engine. I've been trying to locate where the oil pressure sending unit is on the engine. I thought it would be a no brainer, however a couple mechanics I'vs asked, as well as numerous manuals I have have been of no help.

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide

David,

The oil pressure sending unit should be on the drivers side of the engine, above the fuel pump. If you have A/C then the compressor is probably blocking your view.

Look directly in front if the oil filter. It will have a wire connected to the end.

I knew I should have looked before I typed. It is located between the oil filter and the fuel pump
