ok. i'ver replaced the heater core, all the hoses and the waterpump so far and i still am not getting heat inside. the vacuum control that changes the utput of the vents/AC isn't functions right now. could that be part of the problem? it's getting chilly!!!! thanks.

no heat

Sounds like your door inside your heater box is not moving when you put in the warm position on the control or your vent is stuck open. Thats assuming your both heater hoses are getting warm when the car is warmed up. If only one side is warm on the heater hoses then there is a problem with the vacumn controled heater valve under the hood. If the motor doesn't get warm its probably the thermostat. Of course it could be a combonation of 2 or more of the above.
