I'm going to check out the car tonight, I will post after I see it. I talked to the seller today, this is what I got from him:
1. The original engine is in the car.
2. The 390 was in the car as the 289 was rebuilt many years ago.
3. A little confusing.
4. The engine has not been started in about 20 years.
5. You can turn the engine at the fan.
6. He says all parts are there.
7. Last but not least the price is what he accepts so if your interested post here and I'll get you in touch with the guy.....

Thanks Lance

PS. spread the word to anyone willing to pick up or in the St. Louis area

Confusing? No kidding! So what engine is in the car now and which engine is the original? Can you e-mail the VIN or any pics? Thanks. [email protected]

The 289 is the original and it is what is in the car now. I could not get pictures but I can tell you this much. The car is going to need alot of work. I paid 1500 for my 68 with a cleveland, a lot of parts and it could be driven. Honestly guys this car will need work... But if still want to see pics I will try to get a few posted..
