Hello, my name is Dale and I have a 69 S-code XR-7. It is my first car and I have had her for 21 years. dove it daily from age 16-21. I then bought a 91 Mustang GT that I daily drove for a few years, sold that and bought a 99 Cobra that I am rebuilding now. However, my 69 is still with me! She is in good condition, what I can a 10 footer. Has some rust, but runs like a champ. I drive her a lot differently now than when I was 16, lol. I went through a lot of rear tires back then. Anyway, I'll be checking in on the forum, and glad to be here!

First off, Welcome to MC.net!

Nice looking Cat! Yours is one of the best looking lime-frost Cats I've seen. The 15" Magnums and black vinyl top really set it off.

There is a pretty active Cougar club in Florida, and I'm sure one of those guys will be piping up soon...

Very nice looking car! Nice color combo too with the vinyl top really setting it off and the interior looking great!! I burnt some tires on my first one too. Had steel studded snow tires on it year run and loved to brake torque them!! With my new car won't be doing any brake torquen! Nice to meet you. This is a great place to ask questions and get answers.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Every time I drive the car I get a story about a persone who had a Cougar, or a family member who did. These cars create memories for many people. Mine is 1 of 1,350 S-codes in 69 according to the Mardi report. Anything I took off, I saved. Like the original A/M radio, hub caps, etc. All in all, the car is pretty original. I have never seen another S-code in person. There is a Red vert that shows up at some local meets, but it is not a 390 car.
