this weekend I pick up my 70 XR7's new fuel tank.
The original one was so dirty inside it would be too much work for it to be worth saving, a new one is cheap peace of mind. I decided to go with e-bay on the carb. Same carb but better price. $359.00 at the local shop.

Im hoping to get it running so i can put it in the garage. my t-bird will have to sleep outside. I really need a 15 car garage

Looks like a decent deal on the carb. Let us know how it works out. Should be a good piece and after all Holley has had enough time to get them right by now. mm

I was thinking the 570 cfm would be better but the price was right, and 670 cfm at mid to hi rpm should feel pretty good.
I dont want it to feel great at the low end then fall flat in the higher rpm ranges. It seems to that a 351C with 71 4v heads and headers can pump a bunch of air, thus 670 wont be too large.
I hope. will let yall know. it is my birthday weekend this weekend, i still hope to get some work done, ill try not to prime the carb with beer. (accidental spill)
