I have replaced the power steering valve and power cylinder in my 1970 and now need to hook up the two short hoses between the valve and cylinder. Didn't keep the way the hoses hook up in mind, however! Only 2 ways to hook them up, so is it 50-50? And what is the best way to get air out of the system once I do have everything hooked up and filled with new fluid? Thanks to anyone who can help!

Feelin' lucky, punk?

If you hook them up wrong, the steering wheel will move back & forth on it's own. Don't stick your arm thru it when starting the car.

To bleed the system, get the front wheels off the ground and turn wheel stop to stop several times.

They're not long enough to cross.
