Ok........ my first 67:evil:...picked up a 67 of a fellow mc.net member...he had run out of funds and energy and with all my free time after my layoff, I am into as many projects I can get into...Car is going to need some TLC to get into sellable condition...Needs paint, seat covers and the engine is going to have to be de-blued, new manifold and a few other parts...Also new wheels love the slots but not sellable...Goes to paint on the 26th so alot of parts to remove and bag....

Four-55, could you pull some info off the wheels? I have a very similar set on mine and am needing to replace the center caps, I was just wondering what brand those wheels are and if there is any information on the center caps...

Thanks!

there is no info on any caps...It has been my experience is to find a cooperative wheel store bring them a center cap and have them order some in from a distributor...In the 70s and 80s lots of manufactures made these and they all have different centers...On one car I had them order 10 different to find one that fit right....The name might be on the wheel but even then hard to find caps...US wheel made alot of them but they are no longer around...Good luck

Thanks, I will give that a try, I do have two good center caps, just unsure if I want to match that style or go with a little less protruding cap... Thanks again.

These caps actually screw on the face of the wheel through the back are better looking IMHO....If you have disk brakes may limit how small

Thanks again for the info - sorry the thread got a little hi-jacked! My rims are setup for the center caps that push through. I will take a look at Midwest - will have some time on my hands as my Cat is going to my brothers for paint in the morning, he estimates 1-2 weeks with his schedule, so I will have some time...

Thanks again.

That's a huge improvement. I never really cared for red but I'll make an exception this time.
