Nice site and nice cougar project. I thought I'd drop you a line because of the rhoads lifters. I am running a 300/310 ford motorsports cam in a 351w with rhoads lifters. When cold she doesn't like to idle but when warm I can Idle her down to 750rpm's with a slight lope. Some say they are no good but I have had them in my car for around 9 years and never had a problem. On the trans I went with the AOD.

Yes, I am planning on keeping the yellow. I am actually quite fond of the color. It looked great on the car when I painted it back in '93. I bought the car from my Dad in late '93 (when I was 18) I drove it daily untill '98 when I got that nasty qtr panel damge. It then sat parked at my in-laws untill this year, when I trailered her up and brought her n for resto.
