My drive shaft on the 69 is awol . Its the FMX trans , I do have a 68 Mustang Fastback was a C4 was wondering if this would work to make the car a lot mover .

I would guess no in that some of the difference in length between the two cars is in the Cougar seat pan on back. Unless only the rear (from the diff back) of the springs is longer on the Cougar, in which case maybe they could be the same. But my gut says no.

Look in the tech section "sticky's" and you will see a driveshaft length thread which will give you some Cougar DS sizes.

I think he means it could then drive in a lot as opposed to having to be pushed? Also, he is talking about a car, while you seem to be talking about feelings i.e., "care". :buck:

I seriously doubt it would fit -- the Mustang's wheelbase is shorter than the Cougar's, and the Cougar's leaf springs are also longer.
