Here's the situation!:
putting a toploader into my project 70xr7/convert, coupled to my
69/390/4v. Fine. Now the speedo drive gear(7tooth) is shot,
and I'll need new drive and driven gears to mate to the 3.25 t/l rear end.
According to all the computations and tables available, I'll need a 7tooth(black) drive, and a 18tooth(green) driven. Ok....

In my travels, I found a 8tooth(grey) drive gear...apparently for
a T5, TKO, or somesuch...looks as though it'll fit just as my old black 7tooth did on the tailshaft. I also have a 20tooth(blue)
driven gear, which the table/computations say should give me a 1% variance, which is ok by me, cause I have all the parts.

Here's the question(s):
-I've never seen a 8/20 combo suggested for a 70 toploader application...anyone see any reason this shouldnt work, or they shouldnt mate?
-If so, I can still get a 7drive, but can't seem to find a 18green driven?....anyone have one or know where to obtain?.

Thanks for reading!
