So far in the past month ive replaced my alternator, battery, regulator, coil, vaccuum hoses, h block, carb, fuel pump, sending unit, driver side floor plan, and heater box. Restoration is pricey but well worth it!
Save your pennies, and any other money you have. You have just made a "good start". That being said... it is a big thrill to see progress and have a solid goal. Enjoy the shopping, learning, new friends, and ......... eventually, the RIDE !!!! Jim
You remind me of me when I was your age, my second car was a 1970 Cougar that I drove through College. They take money to drive and keep running but you have the coolest car in the school parking lot. Enjoy it.
Relative to what? I just saw a guy walk out of a showroom signing a note for 36K - I thought to myself what a fool! A little elbow grease and some effort will reward you seven fold. Keep plugging away!!
