You should all pause for a moment of silence.....a couple days ago around 2:00 in the afternoon I officially put the 68 XR7 I have been parting out "to sleep". Actually, I cut it in three sections with a torch but you get the idea.....it's a sad thing to know you are putting the useful life of a classic cougar to an end. The bright spot in this is that this cougar was an organ donor......lots of parts have been sold or I will use on my own cars (or keep), and I am going to "jig-up" the front and rear clips to build a rotary chassis stand so that other cougars might live or be improved so this cougar didn't die needlessly!
If any of you have any ideas to improve or make a really nice rotary stand I'd love to hear them. I've been wanting to build one for my race cars anyways but my 68 XR7 will need alot of restoring underneath so will make adapters to fit the cougars, too.
