This weekend I took the Cat out for its longest ride since I got her. After about 200 miles I noticed I lost a center cap from one of my wheels. So now I have only 3... not good

Does anyone have a spare? Also, I'm not sure if these things are standard or whether there were various sizes, depending on year, make, etc. If anybody has more info for me, or has an extra one in their collection, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Someone on the classic-cougars list once shared this trick to keep the Magnum 500 center caps from coming off ;-) :

Save the lids off of four soup cans, line up the center cap backing plates on the soup can lids and mark the two holes, drill out the holes, then start your screws through the backing plates, then the soup lids. They will fit tight on the back side of the wheel. Line up the center cap and tighten the screws. Works great and makes it a lot harder for those center caps to come off.
