BBCat, I learned today, needs lower ball joints. I see that MU sells them separately from the lower control arms, but they only show one part number, leaving me with two questions:

1. Did the big-block cars use the same lower ball joints as the small block cars?
2. Is there any reason to change the lower control arms at the same time as the lower ball joints?

Thanks in advance for any technical advice provided!

I don't know the answer to question one, however I would replace the lower arms if you need lower balljoints. If the balljoints are worn out the lower control bushings are too. I would check the strut rod bushings and swaybar bushings as well.
